Unlike sealers that protect against stains, AntiEtch® specifically protects against acid etching — the dull marks left by acidic substances on marble, travertine, and limestone.

Finish Compatibility
AntiEtch® can only be applied to polished and honed (matte) finishes. It is not compatible with leathered, brushed, tumbled, or other textured finishes. If you’re choosing stone and want AntiEtch® protection, select a polished or honed finish.
