Iron Oxidation Risk

Arabescato Antico may contain trace iron deposits within the stone. When exposed to moisture over time — especially in showers, around sinks, or exterior applications — these iron deposits can oxidize and cause rust-colored staining from within the stone. This is not a surface stain and cannot be cleaned with standard products. A professional stone restoration company can often treat iron stains with specialized poultices. Ask your fabricator to inspect the slab for visible iron deposits before installation.
